Data we collect and why

The data controller is SIA Denesi, the company that operates ONE (OneCommunity), registered in Latvia (info@onecommunityapp.com). We process personal data to operate the Platform, enable community interaction, keep it secure, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

  • Account information — username, email, hashed password, profile details
  • User content — posts, comments, messages, media, group and event participation
  • Technical & usage data — IP address, browser, device, pages visited, interaction logs
  • Authentication data — login attempts, session tokens, device metadata

Legal bases (GDPR Article 6)

  • Performance of a contract — to create your account and provide platform features
  • Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, and improving the experience
  • Consent — optional cookies and any marketing; you can withdraw at any time
  • Legal obligation — to comply with law enforcement and regulatory requirements

Security, retention, and transfers

We use HTTPS/TLS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, database row-level security, JWT session management, access controls, automated backups, and continuous monitoring. Data is retained while your account is active and as required for legal and security purposes. Any transfers outside the EEA use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your GDPR rights

You can access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, or port your data, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@onecommunityapp.com — we respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv).
